dmesg – display the system message buffer

SYNOPSIS
dmesg [-M core] [-N system]

DESCRIPTION
Dmesg displays the contents of the system message buffer. This command needs to be run as root.

SEE ALSO
syslogd(8)

shows all of today’s kernel msgs, including the boot process. It needs some cleaning up, but at least it contains all I needed to find.

log show --predicate "processID == 0" --start $(date "+%Y-%m-%d") --debug
